Shannon White began her cosmetology journey at just 16 years old, but her passion for beauty started even earlier — giving her mother a relaxer at only 12 years old. She received her cosmetology training at Edward W. Bok Technical High School in Philadelphia, PA, later becoming a licensed cosmetologist and instructor.
Known for her precision cuts, expert coloring techniques, and ability to restore damaged hair, Shannon has become a respected hairstylist, barber, and makeup artist throughout the industry. Her work has appeared on productions connected to Netflix, Hulu, HBO, CBS Sports, Paramount Pictures, and Channel 10 Philadelphia.
She is also the proud owner of The SLW Beauty Bar and continues traveling to different cities to provide services, build relationships, and stay ahead of the latest beauty trends and techniques.
Shannon’s mission is simple yet powerful: giving every person the opportunity to truly love their hair.
